Hopson Plantation & Commissary

The first cotton crop commercially produced entirely by machinery, from planting to baling, was grown on 28 acres of land owned by the Hopson Planting Company. The Commissary is now a museum of sorts that houses farming memorabilia. While you are there you may just want to stay the night in the “Shack Up Inn” on the property of the commissary.
